Jacinta Allan says she’s excited about how Victoria can promote the AFL to a global audience as part of a historic recently-announced deal with the NFL.

A regular-season NFL game will be played at the MCG in 2026, which will see the LA Rams take on a yet-to-be-announced opponent.

With the game slated to be played in September next year, Ms Allan said her government will now work through how the game fits alongside the AFL finals series.

“The crossover opportunities here are just huge.”
