Jacqui Felgate blasts ‘dodgy’ new tax slapped on Victorians

Jacqui Felgate says the government’s new Emergency Services Levy is an embarrassment.

Premier Jacinta Allan has moved in recent days to defend the new tax, which is set to slug those who own bigger properties more to help pay for emergency services.

The 3AW Drive host said the new levy was essentially another “tax by stealth”, which is “coming after our most vulnerable”.
