Jacqui Felgate has fired up over the state government’s release in relation to the latest crime statistics.

Criminal offences are slightly down by 0.2 per cent in Victoria, but the overall crime rate has still increased by 26 per cent over the past three years.

“The release from the government today I think is an insult to every victim, and shows once again how out of touch and arrogant Labor is,” the 3AW Drive host said.

“Honestly, you could not make this up.”

Deputy Commissioner Regional Operations at Victoria Police, Bob Hill, admitted he’s not comfortable with the level of crime throughout the state.

“The crime that’s occurring in the state of Victoria continues to be at an unacceptable rate,” Mr Hill said on 3AW Drive.
