Jacqui Felgate left infuriated after the family of murdered Adriana Donato spots killer outside on day release

Jacqui Felgate has slammed how victims of crimes are treated in Victoria, and she has also taken aim at Victoria’s COVID-19 mandates, which shave time off prisoners’ sentences for good behaviour.
Her comments come after Victoria’s Corrections Minister had to apologise to the family of murdered 20-year-old Adriana Donato for failing to inform them her murderer, James Stoneham, had been allowed out on day release.
“Even before parole had been granted, he was out in the same community as the family of the woman he murdered … he got more than a year shaved off for being a good boy … it makes my blood boil,” she said.

“Everyone was locked up during COVID, why is it that prisoners get a free ride?” she added.
