Jacqui Felgate quizzes opposition leader over leadership turmoil

Victoria opposition leader John Pesutto says he’ll continue to push ahead amid constant talk around his future.

Two key staff in Mr Pesutto’s office finished up over the weekend, with talk around his position as leader of the Liberal party only ramping up as a result.

He told Jacqui Felgate that he wasn’t a “dead man walking” following a turbulent 48 hours.

“Of course (I’m not a dead man walking),” he said on 3AW.

“We’re focused on the job at hand and we’ve got some big issues in parliament this week.”
