The Standard has revealed that the Victorian government was made aware that stations along the Warrnambool line were ‘too short’ to accommodate VLocity trains before they were introduced.

The 3AW Drive host said, “I just think in this day and age, it’s completely unacceptable.”

President of the Rail Futures Institute and former V/Line chief operating officer, John Hearsch told Jacqui Felgate, “It’s such an obvious problem that, you know, it’s hardly necessary for us to tell them.”

“I mean, they should know right from the outset.”
