Jacqui Felgate has weighed in on the work from home debate as the NSW government calls on public servants to return to the office.

Public servants in NSW will now have to justify why they need to work from home, but the Victorian government isn’t budging, releasing a statement stating they have no plans to roll back the flexible working arrangements.

“This is a city that has very much lost its heart and soul, particularly during the week,” the 3AW Drive host said about the Melbourne CBD.

NSW Deputy Premier Prue Car then joined the program and said “flexible working arrangements will still exist, but just predominantly in the office”.

“We believe it’s the right thing to do,” Ms Car said.
