Jacqui Felgate’s question after Jacinta Allan backs former premier’s trip to China

Jacqui Felgate has questioned the relationship Daniel Andrews has with China and his reason for travelling.

Her questions come after Jacinta Allan released a statement saying Andrew’s relationship with China was good for the state, and an interview the former premier had on Chinese television earlier in the year.

“Is Daniel Andrews being used as a special envoy to mend relations with China, and are taxpayers paying for that? Will he be whispering in Albo’s ear, or is he being manipulated by the Chinese Communist Party?,” she questioned.
