Jacqui Felgate has reacted strongly to the stabbing of 23-year-old Nathan Mwanza at a bus stop in Wyndham Vale on Wednesday night.

The 3AW Drive host said the latest act of crime in Victoria is “heartbreaking and sickening at the same time”.

“How many young innocent kids have to die before we act on this properly?” she said.

“We are so much better than this,” she said.

“These offenders if found, they need to go to jail, and they need to go to jail for a long time.”

Nine News reporter, Gillian Lantouris, then shed light on the details surrounding the violent incident.

“It’s absolutely heartbreaking,” Lantouris said on 3AW Drive.
