Jade tells Neil Mitchell about her horrifying home invasion ordeal
By JAKE BOURKE
The victim of a horrifying home invasion says it ‘felt like a movie’ when a group of thugs kicked in the door of her Greensborough share house and terrorised those inside.
Police have since made seven arrests in relation to several aggravated burglaries at St Albans, Caroline Springs, Greensborough and Truganina.
3AW Mornings was alerted to one of those disturbing home invasions, which happened at 4am on Friday.
Jade told Neil Mitchell she was asleep in bed when she woke to three men towering over her.
‘They were screaming at me and threatening to kill me if I didn’t give them money,’ she explained on 3AW.
The group then proceeded to trash the house, stealing valuables and keys to cars.
Jade said one of the offenders swung a machete at her male housemate during the ordeal.
They escaped in two cars from the house.
Jade said the offenders had ‘very dark’ complexions and were wearing jackets and hoodies.
