Australia’s Jai Hindley has seized the yellow jersey in the fifth stage of the Tour de France.

SBS cycling commentator for the Tour de France, Matt Kennan, says in the first four days of the stage, Hindley raced “boring.”

“We hardly saw him – he tore that up and he went on the attack today,” he told Mark Allen and Jimmy Bartel, filling in for Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft.
