Jake Carlisle still has a big future as a Saint, says coach
St Kilda coach Alan Richardson says the club has rallied around suspended recruit Jake Carlisle.
The former Bomber was suspended for the season as part of the CAS verdict on the Essendon supplement regime.
Richardson told Sports Today he knew Carlisle might miss a games, but the length of the suspension was ‘surprising’.
‘But that’ll give someone else an opportunity,’ Richardson said.
He said Carlisle will still have a large part to play in the Saints’ future.
‘Jake was traded to be a really strong player when we’re a really strong team,’ he said.
‘That doesn’t change.’
