James Parsons and Sam Menegola both suspended by the Match Review Panel, Josh Gibson cleared

Geelong pair James Parsons and Sam Menegola are set to miss this week’s clash with St Kilda after they were both suspended by the Match Review Panel.

Parsons can accept two games for striking Luke Hodge, while Menegola was offered one-game with an early guilty plea for his sling tackle on the Hawthorn champ.

Josh Gibson was cleared for his contentious bump on Tom Ruggles, which divided the 3AW Football commentary team.

The MRP deemed the force in Gibson’s hit was ‘not excessive’ for the situation.
