Jane Garrett says she is finalising a formal complaint about how she was treated as Emergency Services Minister.

Ms Garrett released a statement on Tuesday afternoon, confirming the news.

‘I have been finalising a formal complaint about the treatment that I and my staff received during my tenure as the Minister for Emergency Services which will be progressed through the appropriate independent channels,’ the statement read.

‘I also intend to formally participate in the VHREOC review into the fire services.’

‘Given these formal processes, I will be making no further comment as I have not since my resignation on 10 June 2016.’
