Jane’s Plant of the Week

You can always tell a Euphorbia.

The plants share the feature of having a poisonous, milky, white, latex-like sap, and unusual and unique floral structures

The common name ‘spurge’ derives from the Middle English/Old French espurge (‘to purge’), due to the use of the plant’s sap as a purgative.

Very interesting plant.
