Jarryd Hayne could be on the way back home. 

Phil ‘Buzz’ Rothfield told Sports Today that the NFL dream could be over.

‘I’m hearing he will be back in the NRL next year,’ Buzz said on Wednesday.

Buzz said some clubs in the NRL ‘have their cheque books poised.’

NRL star Hayne left Australia in 2014 to pursue a career in the NFL.

After an impressive pre-season, Hayne was signed by the San Francisco 49ers, but he was cut after a few horrendous errors in his first five games.

Buzz also said he says batsmen-friendly pitches are ‘to the detriment of Test cricket.’
