Jetstar bungle leaves Aussies stranded in Singapore
Hundreds of passengers have been left stranded in Singapore for two hours after a Jetstar bungle.
Rachel told Jacqui Felgate what was supposed to be a two-hour stopover has turned into a 48-hour nightmare.
She was supposed to fly home on Saturday night but she still doesn’t know when she’ll be able to get home, and has been left “really, really disappointed” by Jetstar’s suggestion that she and other impacted passengers book travel home with another airline at a cost of $3000.

“Me and a lot of the other passengers just aren’t able to pay for that and I think it’s an unacceptable answer,” she said.
In a statement, Jetstar said the flight delays are due to an engineering issue and passengers have been rebooked on a flight at 8pm tonight.
“All passengers have been provided accommodation and a $200 Jetstar voucher. We will cover reasonable expenses incurred during the delay including accommodation, meals and transport to and from the airport,” the statement read.
