Jill Hennessy reveals she’s been horribly abused by anti-vaccination campaigns

Health minister Jill Hennessy has hit back at social media trolls who’ve abused and threatened her over the government’s vaccination policies.

Ms Hennessy has revealed she’s been bombarded with abuse and hate mail, whenever policies to increase vaccination rates are aired.

In a stunning video posted by The Herald Sun, Ms Hennessy has read out some of the abusive messages one by one.

‘Dirty dog’, one calls her.

Another hopes she ‘gets cancer’ soon.

Ms Hennessy says the abuse will not stop the government’s vaccine campaign.

She spoke with Neil Mitchell on Friday.
