Jim Stynes widow, Sam Ludbey, opens up about re-marriage backlash

Sam Ludbey, the widow of late Melbourne great Jim Stynes, has revealed she faced backlash from her own friends after re-marrying in April.

Stynes died in 2012 after a long and public battle with cancer. 

On 3AW Mornings today, Ms Ludbey revealed she has married businessman and Demons sponsor Geoff Porz.

She told Neil Mitchell she kept their relationship out of the public spotlight to be respectful to everyone, but faced backlash once their engagement was announced.

‘I lost my temper and screamed down the phone and yelled and cried,’ she told told Neil Mitchell of her reaction to criticism.
