Jockey Mark Zahra reveals the moment he knew Melbourne Cup was won

Jockey Mark Zahra has opened up on the moment he knew he had won this year’s Melbourne Cup with Without a Fight.

Zahra rode the horse to victory in the 163rd running of the famous race at Flemington on Tuesday afternoon, just 12 months on from winning the Melbourne Cup aboard Gold Trip.

“When I got that gap I knew that no one could beat me from here,” he told Sam McClure on Wide World of Sports.
