Joe Daniher happy to renew contract with Essendon

Joe Daniher is in negotiations with Essendon to renew his contract.

Daniher is contracted until the end of 2017, but his management is already in talks with the club.

The emerging star told Sports Today he’s not aware of the details, but he knows he wants to stay a Bomber.

‘Moving forward, I’m keen to help this club get where it needs to get to,’ Daniher said.

He said he’s not motivated by money: ‘I’m in it to hold up a cup, one day.’
