John Pesutto weighs in on Allan government scrapping of second injecting room
Opposition leader, John Pesutto has commended the Allan’s government decision to not proceed with the second injection room.
He says, however the news follows “years of bad decisions”.
“The government spent more than $40 million buying a building, when they never had any plan on what to do with it,” he told Jacqui Felgate.

He also took aim the the Allan government, saying he couldn’t trust them on costs.
“I have to say for a four-year process, it strikes me as surprising that it [Ken Lay report] would cost only $270,000,” he said.
