A man who says he was involved in the testing of Pokemon Go has told Neil Mitchell the game has taken an inappropriate turn.

John, who said he trialled the game before its public release, told 3AW players had been spotted laughing and looking for Pokemon in cemeteries at Dandenong, Kew and St Kilda.

He said he wasn’t comfortable with it.

‘To be honest, I find it disgraceful,’ he said.

It follows similar concerns in America, with players spotted at war memorials and even a Holocaust museum looking to find virtual creatures.
