John Setka defends traffic controllers earning over $200,000 a year

Tom Elliott

The Victorian state secretary of the CFMEU has defended traffic controllers on big build projects earning over $206,000 a year, despite numerous budget blow out on government projects.

John Setka says no one talks about the projects delivered under-budget and ahead of time.

“These are jobs the CFMEU members are building proudly, part of the infrastructure big build, we never sort of read about that … I find it insulting traffic controllers get such a bad rep, I mean their job is so dangerous,” he told Tom Elliott.
