Johnny Cash’s recently discovered poems have been turned into an album

Johnny Cash’s unpublished poems have been turned into an album.

Thousands of pages of unpublished poems, songs, and letters had been sitting idle since Cash’s death in 2003.

From those, his son John Carter Cash has produced an album of 16 songs.

John, an accomplished songwriter in his own right, told Denis Walter it’s been an emotional process.

“It’s been a real process of enlightenment and a connection with my father,” he said.

The album, Forever Words, is out now.
