Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg says the future of an “international rules-based order” is at stake in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

It comes as reports emerged of Russian forces continued to target civilian buildings and a Holocaust Memorial.

“This is completely outrages what is occurring,” Mr Frydenberg told Neil Mitchell on 3AW Mornings.

“But what’s at stake Neil here, is more than the sovereignty of one nation and 44 million very desperate souls now in Ukraine.

“It’s actually the future of the international based order, which has helped underpin international and European prosperity for the last 70 years.”
