Josh Jenkins to stay at Adelaide: Kane Cornes

Out of contract Adelaide key forward Josh Jenkins is set to sign with Adelaide, according to Kane Cornes.

It has been reported that Jenkins has had significant offers from rival clubs, while Adelaide began with a two-year deal for $450,000 per year.

Cornes believes the Jenkins camp was ‘offended’ by the initial offer from Adelaide, but discussions are much more positive now.

‘He will stay with the Crows,’ Cornes said.

‘That offer is now up to a four-year deal at around $550,000.’

Cornes expects Jenkins to put pen to paper when his manager Paul connors returns from overseas.
