A parent involved with one of the clubs embroiled in Sunday’s shocking junior footy scenes at Hoppers Crossing claims Albion players were racially abused, sparking the chaos.

Emmanuel Tomazos contacted Neil Mitchell to share the “other side” of the story.

While he conceded Albion was far from blameless, he said they club had been unfairly painted as the sole perpetrator.

“Somebody has run over to the huddle and from that point abused some of our players, especially some of our black players and at that point it’s when it got out of control,” Mr Tomazos said.

When asked whether the “abuse” was racial, Mr Tomazos said “yes.”
