‘Just disgusting’: Shocking hit-run collision leaves woman with fractured vertebrae

A shocking hit-run collision has been brought to light on 3AW Drive on Wednesday afternoon, which left the victim with a fractured vertebrae.

Police are appealing for the driver to come forward, with victim Sally saying she feels sad for the perpetrator “because she’s making things worse for herself”.

“Just disgusting,” Jacqui Felgate said.

Senior Constable Sebastian Knight from Box Hill Police Station then reacted to the “appalling” incident.

“This behaviour and these actions are absolutely unacceptable,” Constable Knight told Jacqui Felgate.

The driver is described as of Caucasian appearance, late 60’s to early 70’s, with shoulder length hair and wearing loose leggings and a grey jumper.
