Justin, Kate and 3AW listeners tear apart ‘garbage’ list of hidden gem towns in Victoria

Fourteen Victorian country towns have made a list of 50 ‘hidden gems’ across Australia.

But the 14 towns which made the list has left many Victorians scratching their head.

They were…

• Harrow
• Halls Gap
• Dookie
• Avoca
• Tarnagulla
• Shepparton
• Mooroopna
• Tatura
• Murchison
• Sea Lake
• Dinner Plain
• Mildura
• Swan Hill
• Ballarat

While they weren’t taking a shot at all towns included, Justin and Kate said there several mind-boggling selections.

‘It’s garbage,’ Justin and Kate said of the list.

And many 3AW Breakfast callers agreed.

Trentham, Bright, Corryong, Omeo, Rutherglen, Port Fairy and Mallacoota were thrown up as glaring omissions.
