Justin Madden’s plan to revive the Great Australian Dream

Former Planning Minister Justin Madden has a plan to make the Great Australian Dream more attainable.

Mr Madden wrote in The Age on Monday that rethinking housing density in the middle suburbs could be the key to housing affordability.

He told Tom Elliott existing housing around the Ring Road is ageing, and ‘there is huge demand’ for higher-density apartment buildings that could replace them.
