Karen Ristevski murder: Search returns to Mount Macedon
Police and SES crews will return to the Mount Macedon area today, searching for clues in the hunt for Karen Ristevski’s killer.
The search zone will be about 1.5 kilometres from where the body of Karen Ristevski was found in a shallow grave in Mount Macedon earlier this year.
It covers about four square kilometres.
It comes more than a year after the mother, 47, went missing from her Avondale Heights home.
Despite the discovery of her body in a shallow grave, no charges have been laid over her suspected murder.
However, detectives appear to be making progress.
Multiple witnesses have called to confirm a Black Mercedes-Benz, believed to be Karen’s, was seen in the Mount Macedon area with a sole man inside the vehicle.
