Kathy Lette joins Denis Walter on 3AW Afternoons to discuss her new book, Best Laid Plans

Best Laid Plans is a new book that explores what it’s like raising autistic children, and handling the experiences they face as they get older.

Speaking on 3AW Afternoons, comical writer Kathy Lette, told Denis she wanted to write about a subject no one ever talks about.

“This novel is about a child with special needs who becomes sexual and wants relationships….when you have a child with special needs you turn up the angst-omoter to about 100 because you never know who they are going to bring home, so it does lend itself to a lot of comedy”, she said.
