Port Adelaide head coach Ken Hinkley has explained why Gather Round needs to stay in Adelaide for the foreseeable future.

The historic event has proved a huge success with sold out crowds, and Hinkley believes there is still so much more in South Australia to see.

“Grand final week in Melbourne is so, so special, but this is as close to that type of feeling that you’re getting in a city that craves football,” Hinkley said.
