Labor and Victorian Dairy industry deliver $11.4 million for dairy farmers
The Labor Government and the Victorian dairy industry have united to deliver an $11.4 million support package for dairy farmers.
Tom Elliott spoke with Jaala Pulford, the Minister for Agriculture about the announcement.
She says – ‘Some towns are entirely dependent on dairy income’
There are 4300 farms in Victoria – 80% are affected by this.
The funds will be distributed across the board.
$1.5mil for the mental health and wellbeing of our farmers.
A major boost to the Royal Financial Council Service
Funds for support groups ‘Taking Stock’ and ‘Tactics for Tight Times’.
