Labor proposes ‘contentious’ amendment to IBAC reform legislation

A proposed last-minute change would prevent IBAC from investigating some allegations relating to Victoria’s Big Build sites.

Age chief state political reporter Chip Le Grand told 3AW Breakfast hosts Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft that the legislation has to get through parliament this week.

“I think a version of this has to go through. It’s really important for Victoria that we broaden the jurisdiction of IBAC,” he said.
