Large truck overturns under CBD rail bridge

A large truck has hit the rail bridge at the intersection of Flinders and Spencer streets in the city.

The driver managed to get out of the cabin before paramedics arrived around 8.20am.

Spencer Street is blocked westbound and traffic cannot get through southbound on Flinders Street.

Bridge inspections also caused delays for public transport.

Train services have now returned as usual.

Trams on route 70 and 75 are experiencing delays.
