LATEST: ‘Sorry’ Daniel Andrews fined by police

Daniel Andrews has been fined twice by Victoria Police for breaching the state’s COVID-19 rules.

The Premier, who has apologised for his errors, was captured on camera twice this week not wearing a mask outside of parliament house when he should have been.

Police said he’d been issued with two $200 fines for the breaches.

“Everyone needs to follow the rules and I am sorry it occurred,” Daniel Andrews said.
