Lauren’s lowpoint: Highpoint a ghost town on Christmas Eve morning

Highpoint has boldly advertised that it’s open for 32 hours in the lead-up to Christmas.

Problem is, not many of the shops are!

‘I’d say 80 per cent of the stores are closed,’ an incredulous 3AW reporter, Lauren Hilbert, told Justin and Kate at 7.20am.

‘(The Highpoint information booth workers) weren’t happy about it; they said they’ve been fielding complaints all night.’
