Lawyer of two pro-Palestine activists confirm legal action against former employer
The lawyer of two girls who lost their jobs after wearing a keffiyeh to work, has confirmed they’re challenging the dismissal.
Principal at the Young Worker’s Centre, Kelly Thomas says the scarves, while being a political statement, weren’t in customer’s faces.
“They [Black Star Pastry] also said wearing the scarf was divisive and inflammatory,” she said.
