Victorians are cooking less and less.

Research by food delivery service Menulog has revealed 80% of Victorians have dumped plans to go out for dinner in favour of having food delivered, and more than half of us order food when we just can’t be bothered cooking.

Shane Delia, chef at Maha and Biggie Smalls, told Nick McCallum it’s just “evolution”.

“How many people do you know who walk down to the milk bar every morning and buy the paper?” he said.

But Nick said we are in danger of creating a generation of people too lazy to cook.
