‘Left high and dry’: Father of rear-ended driver reveals insurance won’t pay

The father of a driver who was rear-ended by a BMW stolen by a group of youths a few weeks ago says the insurance provider won’t pay out.

Steve Wernert says the police can’t prove who was driving the stolen BMW when his daughter was rear-ended.

“The insurance provider for the BMW that was stolen … they need a nominated driver before they’ll go ahead with the claim,” he told Neil Mitchell.
