Leigh Matthews thinks Brisbane’s best footy ‘might still be the best’ in the competition

Brisbane showed why they are a serious contender for the premiership on Friday, dominating the Cats at GMHBA Stadium by 41 points.

On 3AW Football, Leigh Matthews has praised the Lions’ performance and thinks their “upper-level” might be better than Collingwood’s however, they have lacked consistency.

“The Lions best might still be the best,” Matthews said on 3AW Football.

“I think the Lions have replaced the Daniher influence, more effectively than Geelong.”
