Liberal MP Andrew Katos wants apology from Daniel Andrews over weight jibe
Daniel Andrews has publicly apologised to a Liberal MP over comments he made about his weight.
But Andrew Katos wants a personal apology from the Victorian Premier.
The Member for South Barwon had accused Mr Andrews of making a snide comment during question time on Tuesday.
It’s claimed the Premier said it was the ‘first time anyone has said they didn’t see him (Katos) coming’.
‘Fair cop. I shouldn’t have said it,’ Mr Andrews told media on Wednesday.
Mr Katos told Neil Mitchell he wanted a personal meeting with the Premier.
‘If the Premier were to come and seek me out then of course I would accept the apology,’ he said.
