Liberal MP quits role after being nabbed 0.19 after the footy
A senior Liberal MP has been caught drink-driving almost four times the legal limit.
State Upper House MP Simon Ramsay has resigned as shadow parliamentary secretary after blowing 0.19 when tested by Bellarine police on Saturday night.
Mr Ramsay says he told opposition leader Matthew Guy of the incident.
The Geelong Advertiser reports Mr Ramsay had been at the football at Barwon Heads earlier in the day, where he consumed several drinks.
