Liberty Victoria hardly thrilled by new PM appointment…

It’s fair to say human rights group Liberty Victoria isn’t thrilled by Scott Morrison replacing Malcolm Turnbull as Prime Minister.

Liberty Victoria President and 3AW Mornings regular, Jessie Taylor, was asked by Neil Mitchell whether the group would give Mr Morrison a go.

“I don’t have much of a choice, do I?” Ms Taylor said.

“I’m not excited about Scott Morrison being Prime Minister, at all.

“For a start, I think the Liberal Party has eaten itself from the inside out.

“The talk about it being a new generation and there being unity … I think they’re taking us for mugs.”
