‘Life is too short’ to wear a tie
Has the neck tie run its race?
Apparently so, according to a man judged by Vogue to be one of the best dressed of the 1990s.
Matt McGrath told Tom Elliott he only owned one tie and that it sat “very lonely” in his wardrobe.
“I just think life is too short to wear a tie,” he said on 3AW Drive.
“I think the world and workforce has become far more relaxed.”
