‘Likely there will be a delay’: Melbourne ambulance service stretched again

The ambulance service in Melbourne was again stretched overnight.

A warning was issued just after midnight, saying anyone calling an ambulance could expect a delay in paramedics arriving.

The warning was in place for more than three hours, with an all clear issued at 3.30am.

It comes after a code red was declared in the ambulance service last week.
