Victoria’s top cop Mike Bush is again facing scrutiny after revelations he and his wife took undisclosed flights on the Victoria Police Air Wing.

Two weeks ago, Mr Bush apologised for using a police helicopter to attend a conference in Tasmania, claiming it was his only non-operational trip.

But Today Show reporter Christine Ahern thinks the chief commissioner won’t be apologising today.

Press PLAY to hear her explain why (including a statement from Mike Bush)

“I think what value to Victorians his wife had up in the helicopter, I think that one will be a little bit questionable,” Ms Ahern told Ross and Russ.

Critics within the force say Mr Bush has misled the public, while he maintains the flights were for legitimate operational understanding.
