A 10-year-old boy from Gippsland who has spent his young life collecting footy cards is selling his beloved collection to raise money for a cause close to his heart.

Trafalgar boy Kyen Jenkins told Tony Jones he’d been collecting since he was three-years-old, but a tragic event last year prompted him to part with the cards.

“I’m selling them to raise money for charity, the Cancer Council,” Kyen said.

“My Aunty died from cancer last year and then two months later my Grampy got diagnosed with cancer too.”

Kyen goes for the Saints, so 3AW Mornings contacted player Josh Bruce who spoke to Kyen on-air to tell him the club was behind him too.
